Library Services

We believe reading is critical to instilling a passion for learning and spirit of inquiry. The Hamilton Library located at the Senior School and the Hamersley Resource Centre located at the Preparatory School provide all students with a suite of skills, resources and programs to discover, evaluate and apply information effectively now and for the future. 

During 2021, the Hamilton Library was refurbished and transformed into a modern and innovative learning space, supporting quality teaching practice, student collaboration and deeper learning.

From Kindy onwards, students are encouraged to develop a love of literature and reading for recreation and enjoyment. Our Library Services host junior and senior book clubs once a fortnight, where library staff facilitate lively discussions and online activities.

Our team of professional library staff are always available to direct, guide and advise students in their quests to become independent lifelong learners. Teachers also collaborate with library staff when planning and preparing their lessons and resources.
